That sounds very good, Cama. Amazing how the foundation year at Pratt seems nearly identical to the one at RISD. Three studios, art history, English. RISD does have that wintersession break in addition to the two semesters.
One thing that we found is that high grades don't mean anything (unless they're an indicator of mastery of the material, and hence qualification to proceed to the next level). I imagine that if someone is going to apply to an MFA program then BFA grades might be a factor, but I suspect that in that case except at the extreme it won't be grades so much as a portfolio that counts. In the working world, nobody is going to ask for your grades. They're looking for your skills and (again) your portfolio.
I hope you didn't get buried by too much snow. We had only about a foot in my part of Michigan.
