For undergrad, I just want a major that I will enjoy and do well in so I can get into a good medical school. If I major in economics, will I still be able to do the pre-med requirements on the side? I would really prefer this subject rather than biochemistry or something. If this is a possibility, then why don't more students do this so they can have a backup in case they don't get into med school?
