Pre-Med Chem Major advice

So I'm currently a freshman planning on majoring in chemistry and going pre-med. I took Gen Chem 1 in the fall, and am in Gen Chem 2 now. Now as a chem major, i should take orgo next year, and most likely physical chem my junior year so i can fit in all my other chem major requirements. But to take physical chem my junior year, I need to have taken physics. Will it be feasible to take Orgo and Physics at the same time? Or should I consider taking Physics over the summer? And when would be a good time to fit Bio in? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you plan to take the MCAT during or right after your junior year, taking orgo next year and physics and bio either next year or the year after will be fine. If you want to take the MCAT as early as the summer after your sophomore year, you should be taking orgo, physics, and biology next year. Be aware that orgo, biology, and physics all have labs that are required for med school. I don't know what's common at your university, but you should definitely set up a meeting with a pre-med advisor (or an academic advisor) to help you plan out your schedule so you finish everything on time.

You should see how you like orgo...I hated gen chem but really like orgo, and for many people, it's the opposite. It's also of course dependent on how effective your professors are.
