Pre-Med schools

hey im a junior in high school looking for a good pre-med school. I have a lot of options to choose from seeing im near all the UC's. here is my list however some of the schools i have heard a lot of negative things about. (especially UCSD and Berkeley)

1. UCSB (it has an amazing campus and chill people)
2. UCSD (seeing that its close, but i heard people their are weird)
3. UCLA (however extremely competitive)
4. USC (same as UCLA extremely competitive)
5. UCD (not the best school though)

any opinions please comment. So far im really liking UCSB. but dn know if its a good choice for pre med. thanks! peace

Rumor has it that UC's in general aren't the best for pre-med. May I ask what you have against UCD?

Choose the place your going to be the happiest. It seems like UCSB so I would choose that.

i checked out the UCD campus and its all right. compared to other UC's its decent. im not saying its poor academically just doesnt seem like the school for me. and like i feel like ill fit in at UCSB but i dn feel its academically challenging enough for me. like its sorta my safe school and im going for UCLA, but i feel like i wont like it at UCLA. which would be better?
