| Blair Academy Class of 2016
I just received my letter today! So excited !! Anyone else planning to attend next year?? I dont know anything about boarding school as far as what to expect living there, so any advice or tips would be great.

Congrats! You are going to love Blair! and they tell you everything to bring, try to go to revisit day if you can. My third child to attend Blair just got in too and is very excited.

Congratulations! you are going to LOVE Blair. We had two that graduated and our last child was just accepted.
You will get notifications, lots, from Blair and it will cover everything from getting forms completed to what to bring.
Go BUCS!

I might be going! I got accepted, but received less than desired financial aid. My family is trying to push for more, so if that is successful, I will be joining you in the class of 2016!!!
I really hope I get more financial aid... they're expecting us to pay a little less than what my mom earns in a year, yet we have to send my older brother and me through college, AND help finance my little sister, who is severely mentally disabled. It's ridiculous that they expect us to pay. My mom wrote a very convincing letter, so hopefully I will receive more!

Blair, like any other school has to make tough decisions every year on how to distribute financial aid as their FA budget is obviously not unlimited. I suggest you plead your case with their Admissions Director. They are all wonderful people and, as it sounds like you really want to attend Blair, will do what they can to make this possible for you. Best of luck.

Thanks, enzomoon. I keep on hoping and praying for more financial aid, and, in case that doesn't work out, I am applying to several schools with rolling admission. However, hopefully Blair will work out, because I love it there!
