Does anyone know when roommate assignments typically come out? And will they send it to the student email thats been set up?

It all depends on what school you are attending. Email or call the res life office and they will be able to tell you.

This one definitely depends on the school. My daughter is getting her dorm assignment (and either roommate or no roommate) this month-July- but I have friends whose daughters find out their roommate on the day they arrive at school!
