Prep school with best tennis program

HI.
My son is similar to the boy below except he plays tennis. Can anyone please advice?

Thank you very much.

"prep school with best baseball program

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My son is passionate about baseball. He is also very academic -- straight As in an independent school and strong SSAT scores. He is thinking of applying to Exeter, Andover, Deerfield, St. Paul's, Hotchkiss, Groton and Lawrenceville. Can anyone tell me which schools would be able to support and foster his baseball ability the best? He hopes to also play in college. "

The boys tennis team at The Hotchkiss School won last spring the New England Prep Championship, Class A. It was the third such title since 2008. (The girls program is also first rate, for what that is worth.)

Do you know if the tennis team trains all year aroung or only one season? I noticed that hotchkiss has indoor courts.

I'm sure that THS kids play tennis all year round because it has a first rate indoor facility; however, I doubt that the Hotchkiss coaches instruct tennis players during the winter. In fact, I would guess that these coaches are strictly prohibited from such off-season instruction. My son played 3 varsity sports at THS, and I know that none of his varsity coaches could officially assist him or his teammates during any off-season. School rules, apparently. I assume these same rules apply to tennis players.

Thanks for the response. during offseasons, I assume kids just play and practice by themselves then.
