Any advice for mid-year jump to JBS?

Rather suddenly, we are facing switching DC from a local private day school to a JBS after the holidays. There are compelling reasons for this, but this was not our "ideal" vision of how things would unfold. Anyway, I'm just curious if there are parents or students out there who have been through a mid-year transfer and whether you might have any advice both for our family and for DC.

I think you'll find the faculty and students very welcoming. Your child will stand out initially as everyone will be reaching out to meet him or her, so be prepared. Won't take long for it to be as if your child arrived in September. Congrats!
