no, tabor wouldn't be a safety for you if you have a 68%.. theirs is 67%.. there are a few schools with 40%/55% SSAT's that COULD be your safety.. but see i have a 98% and I don't consider SPS (88%) to be my safety AT ALL.. i would be so honored to get on the waiting list.

It would be more a match than a safety. I have heard good things about Suffield Academy, Pomfret School and Berkshire School. You might want to see if they appeal to you.

That's an interesting point, blairt. I wonder why St. Paul's School's SSAT average is so low. I suppose it must have something to do with legacies, athletes, and all that.

yeah it must.. maybe its because of the FA.. they're more generous with it so if they see a kids who seems like they could add to the community (maybe not as an athlete or legacy or artist or math prodigy), but as an all around cool kid.. and he was middle class.. and he had good scores but not outstanding? idk, i think it has something to do with the FA. or maybe the flood and FA scandal.. maybe the 99% peole who are accepted prefer to go to andover or wherever else they're accepted.. i dont know.

Maybe it's because they don't care as much as other schools about SSAT scores.

every school cares. a school's prestige (and thus students who apply and matriculate) is largely based on academic rigor.
