10th grade applicants

Who's applying for 10th grade? Where are you applying?

I'm applying to St. Paul's, Andover, Taft, and Groton.

when I went to my interview my interviewer told my parents that last year it was noted that during the interview I did not make an effort

last year I didn't want to go at all, but now I do. I really tried to stress the difference. boarding is a big deal, so I don't understand how they can expect me to make an effort when I didn't want to move 6 hours away at the time.

last year my interviewer told my mom that I was exactly what the school was looking for, but happened to leave out that bit.

my question is if I have a chance at all? will they just look at last year's effort and figure that it's the same deal even if this year is dramatically different?
