@ scubasteve;
oh god that makes me panicked. 734: that's like .. oh, 4/5 mistakes? tops? and you're at 61 ?!
i swear i'll be at 4th percentile, & i was pretty confident in math, too.. augh, darn all these math whiz kids bringing my percentiles down D:
98% is excellent, though. it's because you only lost like, 66 points. bahahaa <- had that been in verbal, i'm sure it'd still be in the 80's. /:

verbal- 90%
Reading 82%
Math 63%
total 83%
I got 12 wrong on verbal and omitted 6 no idea how that results in 90 verbal. the stupidd 63 was because I forgot to look at my watch and accidentally omitted 10 math questions lol!taking again though... i predict to get 88-93 total
happy holidays u guys all did great!!

No, absolutely not... you must be above the 98th percentile to have even a SHOT at admission
^mmoynan?
m afraid to say mmoynan may be right. Try taking it again and you may get an acceptable score

Yes, kidding.
Just tired of 96th percentile-ers asking questions on the scores competence.

it would be hilarious if they took the ssat again because of the discouragement they received on cc

I know how you feel, it's one of my pet peeves when someone posts an amazing resume with 95 SSAT scores and then ask whether their application is acceptable.

anyone who cares to answer:
what kind of math does the SSAT have?
Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Algebra, Trigonometry?

Algebra 1 and really, really simple Geometry, I heard. For upper level.
For lower, it had.. Algebra 1, fractions (haha), ratios and percentages. I can't believe I made a few mistakes; The questions were BEYOND easy (carelessness on my behalf)!
I'm okay with math. I don't get SSAT prep for reading comprehension, though.. I'm terrible at it. :/

really? i dont know any 6th graders that have taken alegbra 1. 7th graders, yes. those super nerds that are two years ahead.
im taking geometry now as a 9th grader (one year ahead). my teacher is new, first year out of college. he is so cute. anyways, im not exactly learning anything cause, well, our class is eating him alive, it's like putting a deer in a cage with the big hungry lions. he's just so new and naive. i find it amusing, messing with him, and getting away with it. but he is yummy not learning anything though, which is not good, cause geometry is important for the SAT's. he doesnt give us homework because he thinks we'll hate him, and make it harder on him, which we will but no reason for him not to take it up a notch. i have a 176% in his class lol

HAHA LOL. go easy on the guy, he's writing your rec (i'm assuming?) :P ..
UM, HAHA WHAT? super nerds that are 2 years ahead? gee, thanks. i'm not even sure if it was algebra 1.. just easy to basic algebra. i think that's actually under algebra 1. hm.
is geometry hard? at best, i'll be taking algebra 1 next year so i'm pretty worried about the geo aspect of the SSATs..
