| Deerfield Academy Letters - Anyone?
Greetings my fellow CCers,
I just wanted to make an inquiry about the Deerfield Academy Letters. Recently, I've been getting a lot of DA letters, and a lot meaning 10-11 letters. Does this mean anything? I've been researching so much about the schools, and I want to know if all these letters mean anything or if they are just sending it out to everyone who applied. Thanks.

what were the letters on?
if it was the subject letters (eg. math, science, music, sport...) then that's normal. postcards from your interviewer is said to be normal. usually, if it's anything else it's a good sign.

Yes. It was basically on Music, Sci, Math, etc.

yeah, then that's probably normal. it's not a bad thing, but it's not too much of a good thing either. good luck though, you must have a lot of interests if you got 10 letters.  | |

No, that just sounds excessive. Did you receive them all recently, and what are they about? It's just strange that they'd bombard you with all these letters. I know many have received SOME either early in the process or recently from Deerfield, but 10-11 letters made me curious - what are they doing???

They didn't give me it recently. It was very gradual. I had my interview in Dec. and it just gradually came to me.

Actually, 10-11 sounds about right. They were really gradual though. From like "thanks for showing interests" to "thanks for finishing you're app".  | |

Yes. Goodluck to everyone who applied. We are all hardworking, devoted and goal-setting students and I hope that everyone will get admitted to atleast 1 school they applied to. I'm getting many mixed emotions right now, but I know the more you think about it, the more you worry. I've even had a dream yesterday of getting admitted to all the schools. I was so happy, until I woke up because of my dog. . Anyway. Let us all pray and hope for the best.
