PAParent101: Which dorm are you talking about? Rockwell? That's usually the only freshmen dorm in WQS.

I realized that I had made a rookie mistake by confusing a cluster name with a dorm name. Yes, Rockwell is the dorm I want to know about. And I'm also interested in hearing anything you know about the WQS cluster.

Andover in a month. Very excited, but I still haven't read that book that you are supposed to read. It seemed really boring, so I've been prcrastinating. By the way, who else requested a single. Apparently I'm the only one...

I know nothing about Rockwell other than two oddities: it has 40 rooms, all singles, and it is split between WQS and WQN. I'm sure the students will be able to provide more useful responses to you inquiry.

sorry but i'm almost positive you can only have one fish in a small fishbowl
also- not many students have fish because they can be a pain to find a home for over breaks and if you don't clean their bowl enough they start to smell. if you are willing to clean the bowl and feed them, though, they're a nice addition to a room and people usually find them pretty cool

benevolent4them: the book (if you're talking about the Dew Breaker) is actually quite good, I'm just afraid I'm not picking up on all the symbolism and metaphors that I'm supposed to!
Also, what is the chance that I will be put into the dorm I requested?

I haven't read the book either, though I plan to soon. And I think it's just for freshman.
Have any juniors/freshman recieved their dorm assignments yet? I live in the midwest so I tend to get things later then other people I know that are going so I was just wondering if I should be expecting mine anytime soon.

I don't think they'll take care of dorm assignments until Summer Session students have left later this week.

OK, for juniors/freshmen out there who want to know their dorm assignment early, I have a trick for you. Now I can't garantee it would work 100%, but well it's better than nothing. Here it is. On panet, you click on "class schedule", then click on the link "course list" at the top. You shouldn't see any course there as they havent' been assigned yet, but you should see your academic advisor's name at the top. As juniors, your academic advisor and house counselors are the same person, so you can figure out who your house counselor is right? Search for his/her name in faculty directory, and you'd know what dorm he/she is the couselor for. There you go.

Okay well I already figured that out and I am pretty sure that I am in Doublebrick, but I wanted to know who my roommate is and I was wondering when we found that out.

Is the Isham dorm a good one? How about West Quad North Cluster?
