Chatham Hall and Salem Academy

I'm looking to apply to boarding schools this year. I was wondering if someone could tell me about these 2 schools ? Do they have a good reputation ? Stong academics ? Stuff like that. Please and thank you =]

Contact leapindoughnuts4 about Chatham Hall, I believe that she's a current student. I've heard that Chatham is a great school and I have never heard of Salem Academy so I can't be of much help.. Good luck!

I'm a graduate of Chatham Hall, and my sister is a current student. It's an amazing school. Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions, though I almost never check CC.

By the way, Chatham Hall received a $31 million gift from an alumna last week--the largest single gift to any girls' school ever. This is great news for financial aid applicants, as I'm pretty sure it will bump them up to the highest endowment-per-student of any girls school. Even when it had a smaller endowment the school showed a commitment to financial aid; I and many alumnae hope and expect that the most recent gift will enable an even larger-scale FA initiative.

Im applying for next year at Chatham, so excited!! Does anyone know the average SSAT score for that school? Boardingschoolreview doesnt have them . Salem academy looks good though, and they have a high acceptance rate and a reasonable SSAT average.
