I've wanted to go to BS for a while now, like three years, but i only ever thought of it as a possibility about a year ago. since then i have been doing research non-stop and i feel like i know everything and nothing at the same time. all i hear is good stuff and how wonderful it is and a bunch of fabricated gunk that the schools write up to sell themselves to you. I've read everything i could get my hands on about BS, but i still can't get what i'm looking for. i want opinions from real students, not graduated ones whose opinions were picked because they made BS sound good. I really want to go, but i want to make sure i make the right decision. Also, I've done a bunch of research on different schools but i can't seem to find the right one for me. any ideas? )I don't want that requires me to be a certain religion)

Where ever you go (if you decide) BS is challenging (at least at first) I don't go to BS yet, but I can understand what gos on there. 95% of the time, people are happy they chose to attend and (though it was academically hard) enjoyed their time. To see if Boarding School is right for you, contact any friends or family members that have been to bs and wouldn't fabricate the experience to you. If you don't know anyone that fits this description, asking on this site is a good step because most people are honest. And most people who go to BS really love it, so don't seem wary of their truthfulness when they say that it was an amazing school. (I do this a lot too!)

It might sound cliche, but as far as my boarding school experience goes at least, it's pretty much spot-on.

If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. Deciding to go to boarding school is a big decision that will undoubtedly affect the rest of your life, so it's natural that you're feeling unsure at this point. This was my first year at boarding school, and there have been times where I've been unbelievably homesick and regretted my decision and so much and said I'd give anything to just leave, and there have been times when I've been so thankful for my time here. Overall though, I'm extremely glad I came, and have decided to come back next year.
