So i was wondering how much my fellow applicants and those at BS sleep on average? We did this at school and I average 6.45 (not enough I know, I spent more of my week reading) over a 7 day Mon-Sun period. How about everyone else?

No I average 6.5 every night when you average it including school nights and sleeping in on weekends. I get 4 or 5 school nights, 6ish on saturdays and 10+ on Sundays. Can't remember it exactly but we added it up in school.

I'm glad you guys are similar to me! At school it seemed everyone but the really non-studious kids got 8+. Some even got 10. I know how they do it but It'd kill me free time. At least we won't have huge adjustments sleep wise if we get into BS

Someone of us are going to have a real wake up call when at BS. I probably won't because I can basically wake up at any time or sleep at any time.

I think that you'll adjust. Before I moved here, I got 10+ every night. I'm more worried about having hours of hw every night than adjusting to sleeping at different times. You get used to it.

I think living in a boarding school puts you in a more different situation than at home. At home I eat my dinner and shower after school in half an hour and settle down to my desk an hour since getting back home, so I get 8.5 - 9 hours/night and 6-7 hrs on those extremely rare night when there are more hw. But now at a boarding school I'm going on 4-5 during weekdays because after school there is sport, there is yearbook, there is photography and there is eating in the dining hall while bonding with friends (which, alone, takes an hour) and I'm not happy simply because I love sleep. Probably because I'm bad at time managing though. |

I thought most boarding schools put sports into your schedule, so you could have biology or french after basketball. However, I know Exeter's school day doesn't end until 6.
