Please Chance Me for Andover

Hello! I will be applying to Phillips Academy Andover to be a tenth grader (lower) and would love it if someone could chance me! I applied last year and got wait listed, which I am still on and am crossing my fingers about! However, I will be applying again this coming year! I have received straight A's since 3rd grade and am now going into 9th grade. I volunteer at the church. I play on the field hockey team and run on the track team. I have been dancing since age 2 and have been acting and singing since age 8. Next summer, I will be working at the City Hall in the Mayor's Office. I am taking AP Biology, Algebra II, and many other advanced courses. Please chance me to attend this school! Thank you so much!

I also tutor younger students and lead a local speech and debate team. I am also a member of the speech and debate team at my school.

It's so good that you have solid extracurriculars! Maybe place emphasis on your dance and theater background in your essays or interview, to show the great continuity. Obviously your academic scores are great. Make sure that, if your volunteer/internship work comes up in the interview, that you explain why you do all the things you do. Plenty of students do things like volunteering at hospitals, but what sets some students apart is their real drive to help others, work in the medical field, etc. You seem like a really interesting person!
