It seems that you went ape.. well I can't use profanity on these boards so I'll just say that it seems you went ape and typed this thread really fast as if you were late for something and you were in a rush. Abbreviated works like 'recos', mixes between capital and lowercase, 'countse' that should be spelled 'contest', and 'MUSCician'. Take some time to write out everything clearly next time.
These are good 'stats', 'stats' aren't everything but you seem to be in good shape. The schools you're applying for, especially Exeter, are extremely selective and won't look at just 'stats'. Also an 89 SSAT esp. for Exeter?... I'm not sure what their admitted students' average is but just to be safe I might want to take it again. Then again math is 800, and they look at individual scores as well

The thing that could hurt you the most is your b in spanish. How long were your interviews?

Hockey might help. Had you contacted the coaches?
MVP player could counter the B in Spanish and average SSATs.

@EnemyOfTheSun I don't know Exeter's average SSAT, I was just putting a light suggestion that if you really wanted no doubts on your ssat I'd take it again
89's a godly score don't get me wrong, but exeter's average ssat I'm assuming is very godly

Simpleasthat. The average is 90. So, 89 is well within acceptable limits especially for a hockey player.
If the Prepstud is as good in hockey as he alleges, his SSAT score is more than good enough and will neither hurt nor help his changes of admission.

Wow. You just stole PrepStud's chance me thread and on top of that, your only in seventh grade. I do not think he appreciated what you just did to him. PrepStud, your SSAT scores are good enough for any school, and having one B will not be the reason why you would get rejected. However, since you said that your recommendations were only "ok" might be trouble. If during your interview you were one person, and then when they read your recs, they may have to double think your personality. Basically, you are not specific enough for anyone to really determine your chance. All I can say is that your SSAT and transcript are fine.

Just Dangles, you might want to pay a couple years. Playing AAA does not impress these coaches, as they have 18 and 19 year old players that are physically matured and that played AAA hockey at your age. I would suggest for you to concentrate on academics, and when you mature, take another look at some schools that you have a realistic chance of playing varsity at. I have seen many kids make the jump from top 10 AAA teams in the country to JV teams at prep schools, and for the most part, they didn't make varsity becuase they were being outskated and out checked for spots on Varsity.
