Chances at Loomis Chaffee

What are my chances at Loomis and Chaffee? I got a 48 percentile on the SSAT.Do you think they will accept me if I have an excellent interview and excellent essays? And I got a 2020 for a score if you need to know that

Most successful applicants for schools such as Loomis have SSAT scores in the 80-90 percent range. This does not mean that no one with a lower score gets in though. I would recommend possibly taking the test over to see if you could get a slightly better score if possible.

Kent is a very good school on a small but beautiful campus. Great sports facilities for crew!

Agreed, the 48% doesn't mean you won't get in, but you'll definitely up your chances with scores a little higher.

Did you prepare much for the SSAT. If not, can you do so and take the test again?

The SSAT test will count in the admissions process. Son is there, but was in 95%. I spoke with one of the teachers there and the teacher's child was not offered admission due to low performance on SSAT. Try to practice and take it again. Do you have any hooks?
