I guess parents weekend is coming up at most of the schools - it is this weekend at Exeter at any rate - I am unable to go but I am hoping those that can will report back what they did, what it was like, how their kids are doing etc. And give a random kid without a visiting parent a hug - just for me
And if you go out to dinner, bring along one or more of your child's parentless friends. I promise you that you will find out a lot more about what's going on around school that way and will win the appreciation of those students.
I did not view this thread after the parent weekend. I am happy about the parent weekend and appreciative for the caring and attentive I received from other parents. It make me feel memeber of the school. Next year I would take the parentless boy in the parent weekend with me.
