I saw someone else with Forrest Gump - not at all surprised. congratulations classmates. By the way - I think i wrote "Uconventional, Ceative" on my app. atleast thats what it says on the printout. I guess Princeton finds misspellings incredibly attractive? Love it.

I noticed two grammatical mistakes on my essays, but I guess they don't kill you for those, either.

"I guess Princeton finds misspellings incredibly attractive?"

I also sent in an essay with a few grammar errors. Do you really think that by having errors- it actually helped us in a sense by making us seem more real and human or is it just coincidence?

I think it is important to stick out of the crowd no matter how you do it. Many people with perfect statistics get rejected every year because they are just that - a statistic. Of course at this point, all that matters is that we are in and won't have to apply anywhere until (maybe) grad school. Here's to being different!

I just found out that Les Miz is coming back to Broadway this fall (opening night is Nov. 9th)! Is anyone else wildly excited? Hopefully we'll get really cheap tickets! :P http://www.playbill.com/news/article/98004.html

Euphrasie, I loved Les Mis too. (I know i'm responding like months later; but I just joined CC and i'm reading all the posts 'cause this site is so addictive.) Did you read the whole thing through? Not gonna lie, I ended up skipping some of the huge historical chunks (ie. the first 80 pages on the history of the bishop and his family, etc.).

Okay, I've never posted here before ... I was kind of shocked to get into Princeton, but my brother goes there, so it was particularly thrilling! He has gotten to go to the opera and Broadway plays for about $20-$40 a couple times ... it's really an amazing perk!

Your favorite recording: "Dora Goes to Town", Andrew Bird
Your favorite movie: Waiting for Guffman
Your favorite source of news: haha ... I said "newspapers" ... I didn't know we were being specific about it ..
Your favorite web site: www.hpana.com (it's a Harry Potter site like Mugglenet.com. Oh yes.)
Your favorite keepsake or memento: I think I said my journal ...
Your favorite source of inspiration: literature
Two adjectives: passionate, whimsical

Yep TheaterGirl62, I read the background/historical detail too, but I definitely didn't at all understand the vast majority of it! There were some very beautiful vignettes about the bishop and other characters that I liked, though.
