Microfridge

any '10ers know how much it costs to rent a microfridge?

Wondering if I should by a refrigerator or rent....

Well I'm not a '10er but I recall that the fridge/micro combo costs a few hundred bucks for the year...it's not a bad deal at all.

it's $270 for the year. However, I'd recommend instead getting just a large refrigerator for two reasons:
1. It's most likely going to be cheaper.
2. Larger--the MicroFridge refrigerator portion is not that huge.

Odds are that you're not going to be using the microwave all too often, and there are kitchenettes in most of the buildings where you can quickly use the microwave for something. In my opinion, the extra money isn't worth the microwave, especially with the decrease in space. Now, if you plan on using the microwave a lot, it's completely different, but I found from personal experience that I only really needed a fridge.
