current student here...just to clarify some things:
1) You have absolutely no control over what college you are put into. Some random computer algorithm will decide, so whatever you put on your housing form will not matter whatsoever.
2) Don't stress at all over # of roommates you want, because chances are you won't get what you want, because they only look at # of roommates after you're in your college, and many colleges only have certain room sizes--for example, I put down I wanted 3 roommates, but I was randomly assigned to Forbes, which only has singles and doubles, so that was negated right away. Similarly, for Mathey/Rocky you're probably going to get a suite, even if you request a double or a single (because suites is basically all those two colleges have)
