No Official Confirmation
My daughter accepted her offer of admission at Princeton electronically and via postcard, but we have received no official confirmation of her acceptance. She had to turn down a couple of sweet offers from other good schools, so I called Princeton to see if they would send something--and apparently it's not their policy to do so. Does this bother anyone else?

Well, it wouldn't bother me, but did you ask them if they received your acceptance? If you didn't ask, I would call them back and say you're a little nervous and is there any way to confirm that the school received your daughter's acceptance.

We all got a huge packet with letters and fliers and pamphlets and course selection books....

I'm in the same situation. I accepted my offer of admission online and did not receive an official confirmation that they received my reply. I was a little nervous but I feel a little better now knowing that someone else is dealing with the same thing.

I'm in the same situation. I accepted my offer online, and only now, I'm declining the other schools that I was admitted to.

I got that huge packet, with the different books, so I assume that they received my SIR.

I received my packet with different books (study abroad, undergraduate announcement, and senior thesis) well before I accepted my offer of admission.
