Bunk beds

anyone with past experience, particularly in Whitman, do the students usually breakdown the bunk beds in the quads (3 rooms with 4 roommates)? If not, any suggestions as to whether top or bottom bunk is the better option.

If there's not enough room to break down the bunk beds, the bottom bunk is definitely the better option. It's easier to get in and out of, and you don't have to worry about falling five feet to the ground in your sleep.

Definitely bottom bunk. The only con is that people will sit in it, but if you have a common room that's not an issue.
