freshman year for fall sport athlete

I'm looking for some advice on what classes I might want to take as a fall sport athlete during freshman year. I'm thinking about an ORFE major. Also, what goes on for freshman orientation? Is there a trip together? How close to the start of school? Do fall athletes participate? Thanks.

a) Freshman Orientation really does not have that many things you HAVE to go to. It's mostly to just meet other people. You know "Hi. Where are you from? What do u want to major in? etc."
b) Yeah, you either do CA or OA, Community Action or Outdoor Action, respectively. It's community service or hiking (respectively, again.) I went on OA, and it was really, really awesome.
c) School starts maybe 2 weeks after you go on your OA trip? You have like a week of Orientation before school starts (you do, after all, need to choose classes.)
d) Yeah, athletes do. As far as I know, anyway.

btw, ORFE isn't that easy, and you'll have to take physics, chem, and a bunch of not-so-easy classes as an ORFE major, so idk if you want to put that much time into academics.
