Mid year report submission date

Princeton states that they want the mid-year report submitted by February 1st. However, my counselor said that grades aren't officially posted yet, so the mid year report will have to be sent later.

Is that a problem?

It's not really a problem if your first semester ended last week, they'll understand.

Do I have to explain my semester ending last week, or should I assume that Princeton knows?

I'm in the same boat. Most schools just require them to be sent as soon as 2nd semester grades are availalbe

Okay, so I guess that Princeton will understand if it's late. They should assume that our semesters ended later..?

I am nearly entirely sure they will understand, for the same reasoning they do accept school forms (like recommendation letters) past the original deadline of Jan. 1.
