does anyone know how lenient princeton is on their word limit for the essays?

my 500 word essay is about 650+ words long.

is that ok? what should i do =/

    stick to the +/- 10% of the suggested length rule.

    get teachers/friends to help you edit it. if you've already tried that and can't change anything else, just stick with it. i'm sure there are longer essays being sent xP

    my 250 ones were 300ish

    and my 500 one was 680 or so

    i don't think they care that much unless its OBVIOUSLY over...for example, your short essay should not be over 1 page double spaced...
