Preferred early action deadline
Does princeton prefer that you submit the application for early action before Nov. 1? I only ask because I know that they have one for regular admissions. Thanks!

Would they prefer it? Probably. But the Nov 1 is the deadline and there's no penalty for getting it in just on time. What you should do is submit your best app. If it's done before Nov 1, send it.
