I didn't get one. So...maybe they do only give it out to certain people.

HandsAcrossTime, maybe the mail got lost or maybe you live in an inaccessible country or maybe you've already accepted your offer and they didn't see the need to send you one. I'm sure everyone gets one. If I actually could get one... then I know everyone else deserves one too.

Though it was probably sent to everyone, the contents of the letter
are incredibly warm and genuine- even if it was sent out every year

I am with foto2gem and ceebee63 that the dean actually does get involved
in disucssing everyone- maybe at the end of a day/week.

D got one. It was tacky. But she did like Princeton when we visited. Not a bit tacky.
