| Are freshman seminars restricted to freshmen?
Hi all,
I was wondering if the Princeton Freshman Seminars were meant for freshmen alone. The website says, "each freshman seminar is hosted by a residential college and is open to all freshmen, regardless of residential college affiliation". Fair enough, but are these seminars CLOSED to sophomores? I know that all freshmen must take a writing seminar (as distinct from a freshman seminar) in their first year to fulfill the university writing requirement. But can they defer seeking enrollment in a freshman seminar till their sophomore year? I think some Yale and Stanford "freshman seminars" are also open to sophomores, but is this not the case with Princeton? |
