Question about supplement essay prompt

I plan on writing about the person who has influenced you prompt. However, I'd like to write about a comic book character. Do you think this would be ok or would it look bad if I I didn't exactly follow the prompt.

Thanks in advanced!

No

Option 1 - Tell us about a person who has influenced you in a significant way.

I really think that this won't do good. The fictional character essay would be more suitable for your Common App Essay. This one has to be a 'person' not a comic book character.

As for the influential people essay, most of the applicants are writing on their parents or relatives (which personally I think is very obvious and trivial) and some of them are writing on teachers (common but still a better option).

If I had written on this one, I'd have not taken any generic person.

Hey could you help me too?? The summer essay, what do you reckon is the word limit?

honestly, if this fictional character has truly influenced you in some way, then maybe you could write the essay in a way that would make it work. princeton admissions reads through tons of essays every day... make them laugh and think! that's my opinion.
please chance me! Chance me, please!
