I got an email from Princeton saying all my materials were in, but I think on the website it says accounts won't be available till Jan. or some later date.

This should just become our thread of choice if (god forbid) we don't get into Yale in two days.

I keep switching back and forth from Yale and Princeton as my first choice. Absolutely adore P-ton's campus, but I love *everything* about Yale except New Haven. Hmmm...maybe I'll get rejected from both and not even have to worry, lol.

Man, P-ton's forums seems semi-dead compared to other schools and Yale. LOL. We should kick it up a notch this admissions season

Ivan, Im'm doing UChicago, too!

And I'm not doing yale.... at all.

I actually really like princeton. It's mainly the issue that it's so hard to get in! I think it's the only school I might take over MIT or Emory. I think I'd take it over any other school. Too bad my chances of getting in are so slim. :/

What's the deal with interviews? i submitted my initial app materials (the main common app) and I haven't heard anything about interviews from Duke, P-ton , or Harvard. i submitted on Dec 1.... what;s going on.

It sucks to think that my chances of getting into P-ton are probably less than Yale's, lol. Ah well.

@ kitkatkatie: Harvard took a few weeks for me to get the interview, so I guess it just depends on the interviewers in the area.

I'm just kind of confused on why Princeton is taking so long for interviews. Has anyone gotten so far? I would think that since they don't have EA/ED, they would jump right into the RD applicant pool and and contact local interviewers, unlike Duke or someplace. But I guess not :/

It's also kind of daunting to think that I won't be able to revise my P-ton app if I don't get into Yale since it's already sent. Which means even if my essays were the cause of deferral or rejection, there's nothing I can do

^ I sent mine in already, albeit with a different essay. My essay for Yale didn't fit in with the prompts (I tried to find a quote of my own, but to no avail; I figured that I'll just use another, since I had written it already anyway).
