I'm a incoming freshman and i've been talking to current students who've all told me the pre med at barnard is bad? That everyoneis forced to take a year off after barnard. Any advice? I'm terrified of being pre-med with all the things i've been told from current students.
Thanks! It may sound silly, but I wasn't really worried about too heavy a workload, but more that Barnard would place really strict limits on how many classes I can take (like only 4 a semester) like some schools I have seen. There are so many exciting classes to explore that I was worried about being too limited.
I am an admitted ED first year, and I was just wondering about the course load. I know that I will be taking four courses first semester, but how many courses do most students take after that? Still four?
I read on a thread about Barnard that you applied there ED. I am planning on doing the same and had a few questions about applying in general. I have a fear I haven't done enough "stuff"; by that I mean volunteering, clubs, and the like. Is this very important? Is there anything I can to to compensate for that?
