Hello! I saw your post about your son's college experience and I would love to hear about the schools that he applied to and his experiences with that. My daughter sounds exactly like your son and we too are casting a wide net. Would love an auditioned BFA program, but will definitely have many non-audition programs as well. Thanks for any information you can give.

Can you share which colleges you crossed off your list? That would be so helpful! Thanks...

Hi Times 3! I absolutely agree with your idea that seeing a production is the most useful way of checking out a school, but that has just not been in the cards! Were you able to see a production at Evansville? I have a gut feeling of what that might entail based on some stuff I saw on YouTube, but I am curious about your experience.... Also, have you seen anything at Muhlenberg? Right now my daughter is literally all over the board and she needs some focus! Many thanks! :-)

    Hi Times!

Ok.. I think your idea of seeing the producrtions is a good one. I hope to be able to do that at as many schools as possible. Living on the west coast it is going to be really difficult to fit in tons of visits to the east... that is why I am trying to get as much info as possible from other people. What schools did you like or not the the productions? Also, what did your son think of DePaul and Muhlenberg?.. both of which are high on my sons list. I know he will like muhlenberg and we are definitely visiting this spring break, along with BU, NYU, Vassar, Skidmore and Purchase. I just can't get a feel for what DePaul is like other than the theater progream is amazing. What about the campus, school vibe, dorms, dining etc. Would love to hear what you guys thought and what your sons front runners are.
