How do you register for classes if you don't know AP scores yet?

AP scores are released in late July. Registration is in June and early July. How do you register for classes when you don't know if you tested out of some of them?

Freshman register for their fall classes around late July or early August. You guys are last to register classes on MyPurdue.

Actually, freshmen DO register for classes during your STAR day.

You'll meet with your adviser and then go to a computer lab to register.

I have no clue to what Purdue does now. I just came here last here and we had Day on Campus which basically is replaced by STARS or whatever it is. From what I recall on DoC, I met my advisor and found what classes I would be in on a piece of paper. THEN I went to the computer lab to register my account.

You'll talk to your adviser during STARS, I believe. I think they'll give you guidance. I could see them telling you to register for classes you hope to test out of and then switch after you find out. Shoot off an email to the Registrar and ask.
