The website says that it's guaranteed but...who knows? Maybe if your EFC significantly changes or your grades. I guess it would be primarily up to the school you're matched with and their own regulations. After all, they're the one giving out the scholarship. But then again just about all the Questbridge schools are need-blind or equivalent so you're ability to pay needs to be factored in even if you have a 0.01 GPA. Then there are regulations for criminal misdemeanors and felonies. Obviously if you did something horrific, the school does reserve the right to revoke your scholarship and admission. Many, many factors. Just don't do anything stupid but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you probably won't since you're one of those that posts on CC ( ;

Yes, it's possible to have your acceptance rescinded: just don't get any D's or F's in your final semester, get yourself arrested or get officially reprimanded for cheating, and you should be fine.

I do think that you have to continue to show need each year. If you win the lottery, I do suspect that you would not receive the scholarship, but I don't know and it's a fair question to ask of the school specifically.

No, not like that.
If you mess up and get 1 D after getting the scholarship...can it be taken away.

Yes, absolutely. You have to slack off pretty badly to get a D, after several years of maintaining a nearly-straight-A average.

I remember during a Questbridge orientation that I went to for my brother, they mentioned that a student's family had won the jackpot for a lottery. Although they did not rescind the scholarship, they did reduce it a significant amount. However, the family opted to pay for the full tuition.

They also said that students "who do not meet the academic expectations of a Questbridge scholar may have the scholarships rescinded." But that's all they said about the issue, and it's a rather vague statement.

I think, as others mentioned, you have to slack off pretty badly. I hope not... I'm going through some personal issues right now and my grades aren't up to par.

Trying to pick myself up but I'll be devastated if I do get the scholarship and then lose it because of pure foolishness!

Yea, I'm just paranoid about my grades right now...but it will all be great if I get it...which I doubt I will. Happens...life goes on.
