what are the fave hangout spots for reedies? both on campus and off, and during the week and weekend please.

On campus: Paradox Cafe, pool hall, front lawn, canyon, sections of most individual dorms at different times of the day and week, etc.

Off campus: the general downtown area, Powell's, Hawthorne, etc. There aren't many off campus "hangout spots" simply due to the fact that most non-freshmen don't have the time to regularly take trips off campus. However, there are plenty of spots for hiking, music venues, and shops of every kind.

seriously though, that is where a lot of people spend a good amount of their time.

Also, Student Union, Commons (dining hall) both inside and on the porch, the Quad (if it's nice out), and common rooms/rooms in dorms.

so how often does the typical reedie go off campus to like the downtown area? or off campus at all?

and what about the thesis desk? is that cool? i read about it on the blogss.

^You don't get a thesis desk till you're a senior and, you know, writing your thesis.

And people go off campus in small groups quite a bit, more on the weekends than anything. It's especially popular if someone has a car over fall break.

There's also the Island in the canyon...Very nice hangout spot.
