Has anyone been waitlisted to REED?

I am an international student from Nepal. Reed has waitlisted me.
HAs anyone of you been waitlisted by reed and what are the chances of waitlisted candidate being accepted?

I was waitlisted. I'm absolutely floored, Reed was a match school for me. All my stats are well above the admitted averages and I thought I demonstrated interest (visited, interviewed).... who knows...

Yeah, me too waitlist. I really wanted to go there. Wrote 4.5 page essay on why I want to go to Reed (don't laugh).
Sucks, I really fell in love with Reed. And they are saying kids who get off waitlist can't be assured financial aid (:
2 waitlists so far ughh.

My friend got waitlisted at Reed. He's from Washington State.

However, he wanted to graduate a year early, so that might have had something to do with it.

Waitlisted! I'm from Malaysia. I reeeeally like Reed, so I'm surprised I was this calm when I read the email. I was like, "Oh well."

Really sucks that you might not get financial aid if you're accepted off the waitlist.

And they give u a link for waitlisted students in which they mention fin aid is not assured. I am confused right now since I am need of a lot of fin aid. Grinnell waitlisted me as well got the letter today. Wht a day (:
I got a 1470/1600 so whn I read tht Reed article, I thought my SAT is above their accepted average, so maybe I got in. Damn!

skygirl i too m in a need for a lot of fin aid . but i m optimistic that i will get in .
My brother is at reed and i too desparately want to be a part of it .

Me too... areyou guys freshman or transfer applicants?
Got email notifying me abt the waitlist on May 1st. The mail comes next day.
*sigh* I'm international transfer.... and Reed is like one of my 2 top choices....

i am a freshman international applicant. hmmm. i am really dying to know this issue. can anyone accepted get the numbers of this year's freshmen from its website or something like that and throw it here? maybe we can calculate approximate number...
