Re:

Decision: Accepted

Objective:
  • SAT I (breakdown): CR 620 | M 710 | W 690
  • ACT: -
  • SAT II: Math II 770 | Bio 690
  • Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.03 Weighted... Calculating unweighted would be weird because we some honors classes are longer? so it would still end up being weighted anyway? ... I'm confusing myself. Anyway... I have 20 A's (as of the end of my jr. year), 5 A-'s, and 1 B+ as final grades for classes.
  • Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): Received a notification for scholarship eligibility for being upper 15%... Otherwise, our school doesn't give rank. So somewhere in upper 15?
  • AP (place score in parenthesis): AP Calc BC (Sr. year), AP Envi Sci (Sr. year)
  • IB (place score in parenthesis): -
  • Senior Year Course Load: Honors brit lit, honors college writing, AP calc bc, AP envi sci, honors french IV, roots of intolerance CP, crime and justice CP
  • Major Awards (USAMO, Intel etc.): -
Subjective:
  • Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): French club for 2 years, world language national honors society for 2 years
  • Job/Work Experience: Student Conservation Association (summer after sophomore & jr years)
  • Volunteer/Community service: Norwescap volunteering... twice... Nothing else major (not that that is even major) that i can think of
Other
  • State (if domestic applicant): NJ
  • Country (if international applicant): -
  • Ethnicity: White
  • Gender: Female
  • Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): Ehh... Nothing?
Reflection
  • Strengths: Strong in math, good grades-only maybe 2 B+'s
  • Weaknesses: didn't have a very challenging course load until senior year, poor in english
  • Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I really don't know. I was pleasantly surprised!
  • Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Accepted to UConn, UMass, and RIT. Waitlisted to Case Western Reserve University
Financial Aid (If posted): Not posted yet
  • Scholarships/Amount: Not posted yet

Re: Corrected
Sorry to hear that about your application. I would suggest calling admission as well on Monday to get things straighten up. I recently had trouble putting in my deposit, and had to contact admissions as well. The lady who picked up was really friendly and quite helpful and quickly resolved me problem. I would assume you would get the same treatment if you were to call.
