i personally really enjoyed my time here. it was a lot of fun. it really put rice on the top of my list (depending on how much money they give me tho). i met lots of really cool people. everyone was so friendly!! loli stayed at will rice college. pretty old place but still cool. the baker 13 thing was pretty funny when they went streaking around campus. ummm...what else... oh yea the dance thing at willie's pub kinda reminded me of a middle school dance. kinda lame. AND....i didnt like having to board my shuttle at 5 in the morning

i thought it was pretty fun! i was on that same shuttle..it sucked! lol and someone on my flight missed the shuttle and then the plane so i hope they got home ok. i stayed in lovett which was pretty nice, and the baker 13 thing was definitely hilarious. a bunch of people on the floor i was staying on threw water at them, so they came up and started chasing people around the hallways. yeah the thing at the pub was pretty lame but it was alright, i only stayed for a while. my host and her suitemates were really nice, and i met a few other prospies but not too many. other than being pretty tired now i had a lot of fun. it seems really laid back and not nearly as much work as i thought!

I agree-shuttles at five are bad, especially since my flight wasn't until eight! The campus was beautiful, I actually expected worse. And I don't know how, but I was staying in Baker and missed baker 13. I liked all the propsies I met, especially considering I saw and hung out with them more than I did my host! But all the other students, host's roomate included were cool and more than willing to answer any questions.
The one thing I noticed was that a lot of the propsies I met had applied reg. dec. and weren't sure if they were in, or a lot weren't sure they were going there (i.e. were waiting on an ivy). But i guess that is to be expected. I know my decision may come down to financial aid.

hey my name is sergio, i was at rice vision. i had alot of fun and i was accepted under early decision. I thought the party at the pub wasnt bad if you really got in there and started dancing with the people and having a good time instead of sitting in the couches like alot of people did. the stay definitly changed my vision of rice, it is definitly a more relaxed atmosphere but still intellectual. all the proffesors were very smart and knowledgeable but very interesting. that one lady in the science department that was obsessed with the sexual rituals of flies was kinda weird but interesting. i liked rice vision.
