haven't gotten anything yet...
I applied by the Dec. 1 deadline. haven't gotten any type of response yet... no confirmation that they've received my stufff. no email, no letter... is this bad?

Rice was probably busy with ED admissions decisions; the university had to notify the ED applicants by the 15th. You'll probably get something about R/B early next year; if you're still unsure, just give them a call to check if everything was received.

I believe there is only 3 deadlines one for early decision, one for Rice/Baylor medical, and regular decision. Apparently, early decidees know today or tomorrow while I'm pretty sure Rice/Baylor and regular decision know about their acceptance the same day (around april or march). Don't take my word for it, I am pretty sure it says on their site that Rice/Baylor applicants will know next year.

i see you decided against baylor/baylor. if i was in your position i would have done the same thing. good luck, i hope you get in!

hpa10 yes, I love Rice enough to go to it even without Rice/Baylor, so I figured I would just give Rice/Baylor a shot and hope for the best
