I already submitted my letter of intent to register and housing deposit. What's next? Am I just waiting for a mailed package now?

yup... there's a lot of waiting to do over the summer. Just sit tight and enjoy your last months of high school/family time.

If you're bored you can check out the O-week website: Rice University O-Week: Undergraduates

and here's a link to information on when Rice will be mailing stuff: Rice University O-Week: Undergraduates

note: most of the information on the above websites is from 2007 and hasn't been updated for this year, but i still think it's pretty helpful

Has anyone received the confirmation letters e-mailed on May 2? I paid my deposit and sent in my scholarship acceptance form and I'm wondering if there is something else I need to turn in.

Get ready for one of the craziest and most awkward, but ultimately one of the best, weeks of your lives in August!
