I just got back from

Well, today my father and I went to the EEE conference in Houston, Texas. There were 5 of the ivy leagues (Chicago, Cornell, Rice, Columbia, and Brown).
They explained the college process to us and answered alot of "questions."

Haha, Rice and Chicago def aren't technically "Ivy League" but they might as well be

That's interesting though, Harvard/Princeton/Penn/Georgetown/Duke have a similar conference thing and mailed me invitations a couple times to attend their sessions last fall.

I didn't go (shrug), and I did just fine in my college admission/application process, but I guess if you have time and think it'll be helpful for you, then by all means sign up!

lol. i talked to the senior admission person face to face for a good 15 minutes before the convention.

she really cleared many things up for me.

but i still have a question.
how good are the biology programs at Rice? how do tey compare to Duke, Brown, etc.
