What's my company driving at, scheduling a work day during the game? >=(

I will be wearing my Rice cap along with my corporate attire, in protest. If anybody asks me about it, I'm going to flatly deny that I'm wearing a baseball cap.

Problem: Husband is currently an LSU student. If the Tigers win, he's sleeping on the couch for not cheering hard enough for our mutual alma mater.

aibarr are ya'll in Baton Rouge? Most folks here will be watching the game, even at work. As for us, well our daughter is a junior at LSU, and our oldest son is a sophmore at Rice. Our youngest has already decided he wants to go to Rice. a divided family

That game was painful to watch. You had this ominous feeling when the first guy got on base in the bottom of the ninth, and then you watched it slip away.

aibarr I thought you might be in BR if your husband is an LSU student. Anyway I hope he is not too sore from sleeping on the couch.
For the rest of this world series we will root for LSU, but next year will be Rice's year. Goooo Tigers & Goooo Owls
