| SAT I and SAT II scores for Rice? what is the avg score to have a chance of getting in.
lets just say I have great EC's and awesome essays.
i just received my SAT II scores
Math IIC: 790
Biology E: 770
but my SAT I scores on the other hand..... lets just say they are trash.
please help :] |

| Sometimes when you're ahead of the average student you do better on the SAT II's, which test the more advanced topics. Don't worry, It's fine. |

| for SAT 1, it was my first time w/o any prep.
on the other hand, i studied day and night for my SAT II scores.
i think its just a matter of my preparation for the test.
and yes, I'm also taking the ACT in September |

| If you decide to retake the SAT, do the prep work so you don't make rookie mistakes that bring your score down. Search the forum for the xiggi method for a self study or pick up a study guide or take a class. It makes a big difference. |

| yeah, thanks for the advice.
I started getting free tutorials from this professor.
he was a former SAT prep teacher for PR, but he retired.
he's showing me some tricks that will help me speed through certain sections :] |
