Chance me please! :D

I'm applying to Rice Early Decision this year. Here are my stats as of so far:

Sex: Female
Race: Indian (Asian)
State: Texas
Intended Major: Biochemistry/Medicine
High School Info: New high school, just opened in 2003, last year had 11 children accepted into Rice. There's also an Academy which is for higher level students who are first admitted through a rigorous process and start in ninth grade onward and are accepted into our pool.
Rank: Top 25%, right after top 10% (rank is 65 out of 603 students.)
Recommendations: Hopefully, strong ones
1.) AP World History (10th grade)
2.) Pre AP Bio/AP Bio (9th, 11th grade)
3.) Optional- AP English III (11th grade)

GPA: 4.6 out of 5.
ACT: 30, retaking
SAT: 2010, just took October one though and waiting for results
SAT II: Literature, Math II, Biology (expect 750+ on all of them)

Extracurriculars/Leadership:
- Secretary of Lit Club
- President of Lit Club
-Co Founder of Digital Art Club
- Vice President of Digital Art Club
- Member of JSA for two years
- Member of Lit Club for four years
- Member of Eco club for one year
- Tennis Junior Varsity for two years
- Tennis Varsity for one year (freshman)
- National English Honors Society for two years

-Volunteered at church for two consecutive years, helped children, both disabled and non-disabled
- Then became intern at the same church, working with 1st-5th graders
- Worked in India helping disabled children over the summer
- Participated in an active environmental group- planted trees, protesting, cleaning up parks and such in summer 2007 of India trip
- Worked at my dad's office, filing, helping assist with contacts for three years and still going

Awards:
- WIA Tennis Awards for three years- Runner Up twice and once third place
- Freshman district- 1st place
- Letters of Literature State Finalist (beginning of Freshman year)

Nice stats.
I don't think there's any point in asking others to chance at this stage in the game (I'm also applying early decision.) I think we should just revise our apps for any errors and keep our fingers crossed.
Hope to be seeing both you and Smartone92 at Rice next year!

Hi snowolf. I'm a current Rice student. You definitely have an impressive resume. However, as dixiesilverjojo has pointed out, it is late in the game and properly analyzing your resume isn't going to help very much. Rice is becoming tougher and tougher to get into every year and many students have resumes that are impressive, like yours. My advice to you is to focus on your applications. A powerful essay will really boost your chances. Make sure you get your essay absolutely perfect. As for the supplement, it's a chance to show how much you love Rice as a school. I wish all of you the best and hope you guys get into Rice! Go future Owls!
