Fondren's birthday coming up!
Fondren celebrates 60 - News

Next time you visit the campus, stop by Fondren, the library. It was one of our family's
favorite stops during last year's Family Weekend. Everyone seems to have a spot there.

Happy birthday, Fondren -- wish I could stop by for some bubble tea!

I wonder if a comment about this fine library, which is just about to turn 60, will surface in any application essays. Just a thought --

I am sick of Boba tea (bubble tea, same thing I guess). It is EVERYWHERE. I don't know why, but every student organization and event has started giving out boba tea, and students consume it like a bunch of crackheads (especially female Asians and Southeast Asians... I don't know why, but that's just my observation).

I do wish people would stop inviting me to Boba Sale! facebook events. I don't like tea and I don't like tasteless tapioca balls and I have a lot of trouble seeing the appeal in the combination.
