Yes they opened for the first time this school year. However, you cannot choose to live at these residential colleges; you are randomly assigned to one. With that being said, all the on-campus housing at Rice is bearable or pretty nice.

Yeah I am in Will Rice which currently lives in Mcmurtry. It's pretty nice, but there are some kinks that still need to be worked out
