Housing Preference?!

hi! I'm an incoming student from Korea. (majoring in Political Science at Rutgers)
i'm now completing the Housing and Dining Agreement on enrollment pathway and just wonder how can i list in order of my preference.
cuz i don't know well about other dorms though douglass campus is my top choice.
i wanna be a calm, quiet and safe place. i'm not that party crazy, i don't like drinking that much.
but i'm really a outgoing person hope to meet good people in Rutgers !!
can you help me list my choices??
and they say that i have to indicate the option that is most important to me.
campus option or living option? what does this mean?? i cant understand..

Thanks in advance!

Did you enroll at Douglass Residential College? You are guaranteed housing on Douglass if you are enrolled.

I guess I would list my choices as Douglass, Cook (hmm, I don't know if they put this together with Douglass on the housing agreement), then Busch.

yeah, I would say for you agnes douglass, cook, busch, college ave, livingston. actually i think that's the order in which I listed my preferences.

And I think I remember you telling me that you enrolled in DRC. did you look into the global villages? Douglass Residential College -- Global Villiage
if you're not interested in those, then you will most likely be placed into katzenbach, the first-year dorms for drc students. katzenbach has a pretty sociable environment, but you know, it's as sociable as you make it out to be. Rutgers University Housing Residence Life it's right by the dining hall too which is a plus.

hope this was helpful.

i don't know, whatever you want to do. I live in honors housing and I am having a pretty good experience. There are less girls in honors housing and while that can equate to having less chances to form connections with people, I think we're also closer as a collective groups. meanwhile there are a lot of girls in katzenbach and you don't really get that same sense of community that you can get with a smaller group of people.

the global villages are a great experience, too. The human rights house get to go on trips and whatnot. Us Jameson H girls are jealous also the rooms in jameson are better than the rooms in katzenbach, in my opinion.

College Ave is the most conveinient place. You save the most time if you're in college ave because the bus stop is like in your face. especially if you're in stonier.....the computer lab is one minute away, the post office is one minute away, the registrar, cashier, and financial aid is one minute away, the student center is one minute away, the gym is one minute away, all the events are at the student center, and many of the club meetings as well.....and if u ride the shuttle bus thats in your face u can go get bubble tea, korean restaurant edo, vietnamese noodles pho, chinese food, jamaican food, japanese food, italian, meditarrean, and icecream......if u go to busch, you'll be forever stuck with dining food and there is nowhere to go.....going to college ave from busch will take u like 40 minutes going and comming back.....if u dont wanna be restricted go to college ave

You can get food deliveries at Busch, yes. But from the grease trucks? I don't think so... but there are some restaurants that deliver that sell fat sandwiches.

livingston is the safest. boring at times, but generally very friendly little town. busch is good too. Douglass is of course the cleanest and best campus, but sometimes the activism might be too much. Best clubs though.
college ave is too busy, too much crime. If you want safety, do douglass, livi, or busch.
(I'm counting cook in with douglass)
